We Offer State-of-the-Art Dental Implants and Implant Solutions

At the office of  Durango Laser Dentistry, we focus on offering state-of-the-art solutions so you can feel good about the health of your mouth. Traditional dental implant surgery takes several months, and is well worth the time. During your first visit to Dr. Miner, a post will be placed into the gap where your natural tooth once was. After a number of weeks, the site will be healed, and the crown can be placed onto the post. The crown will be created to match your other teeth in shape, size and color. Dr. Miner offers dental implants start to finish all under one roof!

If you do not have the bone density necessary to support a dental implant post, Dr. Miner may suggest a bone grafting procedure, or in some cases, a sinus lift. Should you wish to take another approach, implant-supported dentures can provide a permanent solution. They require less bone mass than traditional tooth implants do, and are frequently used when a full arch of teeth are missing.

Final Side View

This patient presented to us feeling self-conscience about their smile due to the missing teeth and also wanting to be able to chew better. There was a tooth which was fractured off at the gum line and another missing tooth behind it. After discussing various options, the patient elected implants. We extracted the remaining portion of the fractured tooth and placed both implants at the same time. The benefit to the patient of doing the implants this way is the patient only goes through one surgery. After several months of allowing the tissues to attach to the implants, the crowns were placed. Now they have what they wanted: a pleasing smile and the ability to chew what they want.

Affordability

The cost of dental implants varies depending upon a number of factors, including whether extractions or grafting procedures are needed. When you speak with Dr. Miner during your initial consultation, our team will help you understand how you can make getting tooth implants affordable.
