What to expect

KYBELLA® (deoxycholic acid) injection is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that contours and improves the appearance of submental fullness, sometimes referred to as “double chin.”

 

Dr. Miner will design a treatment plan with you tailored to help you improve your chin and/or jawline profile. During your treatment sessions, Dr. Miner will administer KYBELLA® into the fat under your chin and/or jowls using multiple small injections. Many patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 treatment sessions. Up to 6 treatment sessions may be administered spaced at least one month apart. There is a slight burning sensation (which is indicative of it breaking down the fat) that is normal and reduced with cold.

When this treatment is paired with our PDO thread lift, the results are even more prominent. The Kybella reduces the fat and the PDO threads tighten and lift the skin for an overall leaner and smoother look. Who wouldn’t want to look younger and refreshed almost instantly?

Dermal Threads

In what just might be the actual “non-surgical facelift” many have claimed, but few have delivered on. Do you want a non-surgical option to lift the jowls, tighten and lift the sin in the face? Dermal threads are a great option to lift the saggy skin. Dermal threads can also be used smooth the crepey skin, acne scars, address the radial lip line, and plump the lips and many more great treatments.

The procedure is simple. Dermal threading involves using tiny threads underneath the surface of your skin to lift, smooth and tighten specific areas, with results that last up to a year and a half or more. Dermal threads have been around in Europe for a long time now. They are natural, you can basically get an instant lift, there are minimal risks, and barely any downtime. Because the thread is made from the same material as surgical sutures (polydioxanone, to get specific), it dissolves within 6 months, and actually helps to stimulate collagen production in the skin.
